Rehearsal Dinner Ideas-Lancaster

I found out from my FMIL that she expects me to plan and organize the rehearsal dinner. Can't lie, I'm a little annoyed, since FI and I made it pretty clear that we would love whatever FMIL and FFIL decide (they are throwing us the dinner, so I can't really complain.).

So, I need some ideas that will suit my grandmother, our parents and siblings, and my young nieces and nephews. Any suggestions?

It really depends on how formal or casual you would like.  I did not have a rehearsal dinner but had a "Meet & Greet" where we invited everyone from the guest list to join us for a buffet style family dinner at my MIL.  It was great!  It did create a warm loving nuturing environment for the reception.  Now, formally I would consider Brasserie, Fireside Tavern, Willow Valley  or The Cork Factory.  Pricey I know but that may be what you want.

We're planning on having ours at Carraba's (nice Italian Restaurant.  You can do a dinner for $20pp or you can have it before they open (I THINK they open at 3) and have the whole place to yourselves for $17pp.   We're doing the evening one just because it will be on a Thurs. and we don't want people having to take off work for it.  They do make pizza, I'm sure the little ones couldn't turn that down!

We had ours at Rosa Rosa!  It was fantastic!!!  We LOVED it!  Very good food, great service and I think we got a good price per person (FIL's paid)

We had ours at Chancey's Pub in East Petersburg and it was fantastic. We had an upstairs room to ourselves with our own bar & bathrooms....there were even a few arcade games up there. We did an appetizer buffet, we got to choose 8 different apps and then it was all you can eat. They also let us bring our own dessert. I would definately recommend it!

We had outs at the Fulton Steamboat Inn, which is right next to the Rockvale Outlets.  We had a private room downstairs to ourselves and were served family style.  The food was absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!  I highly recommend it!
