Name changing process

Okay, I've been lurking and this seems to be something to have looked into. The FI and I have decided to hyphnate. Both of us. Please, no flaming. It was his idea. I love it, he loves it.

What's the legal process we're looking at?
Wedding planning land is not friendly to feminists.

    Same as it is for just the woman. Go to the social security office and get new cards, go to the DMV and get new licenses, change your names on bills, credit cards, etc. It's really not difficult at all.

    My sister used MissNowMrs to change her name... they do everything for you! I think it costs like $30... could be worth it?
