Knottie GTG

Well its the new year and time for some new GTGs! I know that we have to have some new girls on here since the holidays are always a great time for proposals so lets see if we can get everyone together yet again.

This time I understand we would all be okay with doing a GTG in Lancaster area.

First we need to set a date. I was thinking the second week in February. That should be a decent amount of time to throw this thing together.

Please give me any feed back on dates so we can pick a date, an activity and I can do any reserving if need be!

Thanks!!
Brittni

That would take us to Valentine's day weekend... I am good for the weekend before or after that weekend.  I am not really familiar with the Lancaster area so I am no help with place suggestions.  Do you have a place in mind?

Haha I guess I should have checked the date. Yeah I'd be good for the 3rd weekend in February which would be the 20th. I am not 100% familiar with Lancaster so I'm hoping that some Lancaster Knotties can give us some more ideas.

I currently go to school in the Lancaster area (Millersville). If you are looking for a restaurant location, I suggest *Fiorentinos Italian Restaurant*, The Pressroom, or Lancaster Brewing Co. All have excellent food and reasonable prices.

Well I'm hoping that some Lancaster knotties will start showing up. I got some suggestions for the Iron Hill Brewery and I also looked around last night and if we wanted to do something that would get us moving I found Low Places, a County Line Dancing place, there are a few bowling alleys, There is roller skating and there is ice skating.

So do we want to eat or play? or both?

Iron Hill is a great place to go, It's easy to get to and there is plenty of parking.  There is also Penn Square Grill ( a bit expensive as is the Pressroom)...Fiorentino's is good, as is Rosa Rosa (also near Iron Hill).  I am up for eating and talking...but that's just me.  :)

I'm from Lancaster. I used to go to Low Places for line dancing all the time. Its not really a good place for talking if thats what you all do at these GTG's. Or if you don't know how to line dance then it would not be so fun either! haha. If your looking for line dancing though The Country Barn has line dancing on Fridays and its more laid back and has more room to spread out. No alcohol though. Bowling is always fun. There is Rocky Springs, Leisure lanes and Garden Spot. I don't venture in town to often other then for working at central market. Sorry I don't have other suggestions. I can't think of anything right now, but I'd be happy to answer questions.

    For restaurants there is:
Annie Baileys irish pub, fenz, iron hill, tj rockwells, loxleys

    for entertaining evenings:
    bowling (leisure lanes)
    dutch apple dinner theatre
lazer dome for some lazer tag (all the cool kids do it lol)

I'd be so up for lazer tag and dinner lol.

I think Iron Hill is a good place to meet. It is easy to find & parking is good. I'd also be up for Annie Baileys; although the parking situation is not as ideal. Also, the Lanc. Dispensing Co. is a good place. Third week of Feb. works for me!

I think the summer would be a nice time to dine outdoors at the Pressroom. It's just beautiful! Maybe we can do another Lancaster GTG when it is warm out. We could always hit up a winery then too! I have to throw in my opinion here about the Lanc. Brewing Co. I just think the food there is terrible and would not recommend it.
