Can most alteration shops fix already altered wedding dresses?

I took my dress in to Sue's Creations to get it altered and thought the dress fit all right when I left. However, I realized later on it was not tight enough.

My wedding is on Oct. 22 and I realize I do not have much time at all, so I made an appointment at Sew Much in Reading, Ohio, for tomorrow (Thursday). I am pretty sure I mentioned the fact that I already got it altered, but needed to take it in again. They are closed today, so I cannot confirm with them.

I was wondering if, by chance, anyone has had an alterations experience with Sew Much after getting it altered somewhere else. How did it go?

Also, I realize some places - like David's Bridal - do not alter already altered dresses, but just didn't know how it worked other places.

    We share wedding dates!

I'm pretty sure it can be altered again. I don't have any experience, but I'm assuming that's why there are several fittings for the dress. HTH!
