Purchased the wrong dress?

Has anyone ever had an anxiety attack after purchasing their gown?? I did this weekend. I purchased my gown from Cincinnati Bride (by the way- loved the service there) and now I'm having reservations about it. I love the gown I bought, but I'm now worrying about EVERYTHING! What if- the gown doesn't photograph well? What if the color (ivory) is too buttercream? What if this dress is too hot for August?

AND I recently came across a dress on the internet that I think I like more. It is more along the lines of what I was looking for originally (mermaid/long cathedral length veil)- for more than HALF the price!!!

I just want to get reactions from former/current brides. Has anyone ever felt this way??? I just hope I didn't "jump the gun" and can't turn back. Maybe I'm just being a paranoid bride. I don't know..... Help!

    Yes, you'll probably even start having horribler dreams about it, but it's more than likely normal- I have the same feelings sometimes.

    Yes- it's driving me crazy! I just wish I knew all the answers. Sigh....

    I actually freaked out the day after I ordered my dress and called the store to tell them I wanted to cancel my order. I let it sit for a day before I realized that I was being ridiculous. My dress came in 6 1/2 months later and I love it as much as I did when I first tried it on....its totally normal.

    And I had the same reaction about the color of my dress as you. I ordered my dress in champagne and my moms camera took horrible pictures of it so I was basing my wanting to cancel it on that:

    Same thing happened to me and on my wedding day I loved my dress more than I ever thought possible!

    I had total dress regret. I bought mine fast and ended up hating it; but couldnt afford another one. :(

    We're getting married at St Bart's in Finneytown and we have two reception sites we're thinking about, both are holding the date for us so we're gonna take another look at them in a few weekends. What about you?

    Oh good, I'm glad I'm not the only one who had that reaction to purchasing their wedding dress. Oh goodness.... LoL

    caseyandlizzie- your dress is beautiful!!!

    lindsaynewbride- Our ceremony is at St. Vincent Ferrer in Kenwood and reception is at the Madison in Covington. St. Bart's is beautiful!

    We almost went with The Madison too! How funny! We talked with Becca for a while and just loved her- I'd refer anyone to her and the madison- very nice place, very nice people, just a little further away than we would like for our guest to travel, is all.

    Oh okay. Becca was really nice. We met her at the front desk, but Angie got our business. The Madison is probably 20 minutes from our church, so we don't think it's too bad. But we have about 300+ people coming, so we really appreciated their all-inclusive packages!!! LoL

    God I can online imagine! Haha 300 guests!!! I bet you're going with the Grande Ballroom downstairs!! You go girl I couldn't handle 300, more like 225 for us. Yea probably from Kenwood it's a straight shot down to Covington. Happy for you that sounds like a beautiful wedding! We'll have to keep in touch so we can compare notes. =)

    Yeah we are inviting a lot of people! And we are going with the Grande Ballroom. It's the only ballroom that could hold our crowd :)
