Pricing w/ Receptions inc..eastgate/loveland

I recieved a price quote from receptions eastgate for my upcoming wedding and was wondering for those who have booked with them before...do you accept the first quote they give you or do you negotiate with them, have them lower the price, or throw in extra's etc....Are all the locations the same in price or different....I recieved the quote from Eastgate but I like the outside look to the Loveland location better, but not sure if it's the same price?  Any other reviews or info on Receptions inc would be great too:)  Thanks

Emilee

We booked with Loveland but looked around at Fairfield and West side locations also. We liked Loveland the best out of those. The price was pretty much the same. The people we met with knew we were looking at several of the Reception locations so they knew we had already been quoted a price. We tweaked a few things about the package but we didn't ask for them to specifically come down on price. We did ask for a few things to be included from some of the other packages and they were very accomodating. They were running a specail (I think they always run some special actually) and some of the stuff we really liked but some we didn't really care for. After we had signed we went back and asked if we could basically substitute some other extras in place of the stuff we didn't want. Hope that helps!

Receptions does easily make substitutions when negotiating.  For example, if you really want the  open bar valued at $2/pp but you don't care for the free uplighting, centerpiece pillar candles, eiffel tower vases, linens, etc., then you may be able to swap.  Just ask.

I looked at Eastgate, Loveland, Fairfield and Erlanger.  I was going in with a base price offered during a bridal show, and once I decided which one I wanted (Erlanger), I negotiated the extras.  I think the manager at Loveland had given me a lower price on the bar, and the locations said they would match that.

I also had another venue I was considering and so I used their pricing during my negotiations, too (although it was more for the other location to match Receptions than the other way around).
