Has anyone had their wedding at or been to a wedding at The Salem Cross Inn?  I'm looking for info.Thanks

    I've been to two weddings and a few work events at the Salem Cross.  The weddings were OK...the room they were in is VERY rustic-maybe the barn?; almost too rustic.  The grounds were really nice but one of them had an outdoor cocktail reception prior to dinner and the weather wasn't very good.  Ceremony had to be moved in as well and the location they used wasn't really a good place for a ceremony....lots of people milling about.  During cocktail hour, guests were standing around inside and their staff seemed really put off.  The food was typical wedding food but nothing special.  I hear they do a GREAT prime rib outside event during the fall and we've been thinking of going.  I haven't been really impressed with their weddings or big work events but I hear their special dining events are really good.
