Wedding Planner?

Ok so I am in kind of a sticky situation. My husband and I are renewing our vows when he returns from Iraq next summer and I can't seem to settle down on anything. I keep skipping from cake to cake, venue to venue, even dress to dress. It is coming down to the wire where I need to start booking things, so I need help. Have any of you used a wedding planner? If so, where are they and are their prices reasonable? My family is very boring and traditional, so I want to do something crazy modern.

    I really wanted to use a planner but most of the one I looked at worked on a percentage of the budget and I just couldn't give up that much money when I thought about it. You have time. Start with a venue and work from there.

    Are you getting married in Western MA? If you are you should look at the Eric Carl Museum its very modern.

    Well its actually Cnetral Mass like the Worcestser area but because Boston and the Cape are so popular, anything past 495 is considered Western Ma. (ha ha) anyways I just dont know even know anymore. I looked at a few places, but since I am so easy to please, I liked both and neither is any better than the other. I went to the wedding expo in sturbridge and fell in love with a table scape that had a modern feel. However, the company that doed it doesnt offer locations for their work. they go wherever you are. I would love to take the Leicester Country Club or Blissful Meadows and have this copany come in just to set up the tables. But that isnt something that is possible.

THEY HAVE AN ON SITE WEDDING PLANNER FREE OF CHARGE THEY HAVE A FABULOUS CEREMONY SITE  AND ROOMS FOR OVERNIGHT STAYS.THEY HAVE ALL INCLUSIVE MENUS THAT THEY WILL DESIGN TO FIT YOUR BUDGET  THEY HAVE THEIR OWN CHEF AND CAKE BAKER I HAD MY WEDDING THERE AND IT WAS AWESOME

    Not sure if you are still interested but you should look in to Dot Your I's, with Jenn Potter.  She doesn't go on a percentage of your budget.  We are using her and she is super friendly.  GL
