I have been using The Knot since we got engaged in Oct of 2011. I just recently started looking around in the community. I figured it might be nice to talk to other women planning a wedding in April 2014. So here I am!! I am looking forward to getting to know you.

    Hi Kay! Welcome to the boards :) There are a lot of women around here who are planning their wedding, and a lot who have already gotten married and have stuck around to help the rest of us out.

    I would suggest lurking around the international boards (the main ones on TK) and getting a feel for how they work. There are a lot of different opinions out there so be prepared to hear anything and everything. The ladies around here might come across as harsh but they have you and your guests best interests at heart.
