Favor opinion?

I need some opinions! FI and I are getting married at Cross Creek Ranch and want our favors to keep with our rustic theme and we want to incorporate mason jars. I originally wanted to give jam or some sort of bbq sauce (since our meal is BBQ) but finance doesn't like either option, soooooo we are back to the drawing board. What do you think is best in a 6oz mason jar?

Another option is to do a cupcake in a jar.  You make standard cupcakes, cut them in half, and layer them: 1/2 of the cupcake, a large dollop of frosting, 2nd half of the cupcake, more frosting.  They're easy and people love them!

I was torn between popcorn and trail mix, but I voted for trail mix :)

Planetkari-I LOVE that!! But we are doing cupcakes and smores at the wedding so that would prob be too much. But that is super cute.

I picked trail mix, but it was a hard decision! I mean, anything in a mason jar is adorable!

What do you both like? You can just fill a mason jar with jelly beans or Skittles or something fun!

Caramel corn would be really yummy, and also look more rustic than regular popcorn. It will prob keep better in the jars than regular popcorn too. I personally think trail mix is gross, but that's just me LOL. That would be why I didn't pick it. And I didn't pick m&m's because the other two are a much more substantial snack for people who are staying late and dancing who need a little bit of something to keep them going.

Also, I went to school with your FI, (possibly you as well?), and I saw your article in the TBT a month or so ago. Congrats!

Thanks ladies for all your opinions!! I still don't know which one we'll do, but hopefully the FI and I can agree finally Laughing
