Small Checks

This weekend I was able to order my Cake Topper and rhinestones off ebay to make it beautiful. I also was able to order a Stencil of my favorite damask pattern for $5 plus shipping off Etsy:

It will be used on my DIY Centerpieces, DIY Picture frames I am making for my parents, FILs and BMs.

I finished all BMs DIY Braclets and now all I have to finish is their Necklaces. I will be home next week and will be signing the contract with my Venue (FINALLY), Talking to DOC and hopefully booking with one. I am also hoping to accomplish booking my DJ and Videography.

The only thing I can't seem to get scheduled during the week I am home is a tasting with the 3 cateres I can't decide between. Would it be too late to wait until May to try and do this for an October 22 wedding?

No Lauren, May is definitely not too late for a tasting.  My FI and I went to one on Saturday and we are scheduled to go to another this Sat for our wedding in October as well.  But, the catering manager said that brides change their minds all the time up until a week before the wedding.  So, it's a good idea to go as soon as you can and narrow down whose food you like overall now, but you won't need to finalize any menus until later.  HTH!

Thanks Brooke. I was beginning to stress about a caterer, but the ones I'm considering said that they can do up to 11 weddings in a singl night. so that calms be down a bit

I'm damask too! As for the caterer I definitely agree that we change our mind on the menu tons of times, however that doesn't mean you should wait on selecting a company.  I've noticed that October is a busy month for weddings here so I would at least decide on company. We are going to Delectables tasting on Saturday. They have one every first Saturday of the month. We are November and have been told by a couple of different vendors we should pick a caterer no later then April.
