Locations in/around St. Pete

I'm new to all of this (not yet engaged) and am looking for an outdoor wedding (not beach) near the St. Petersburg area. Although I also would like a place to have both the ceremony and reception; I think it would be less stressful. Any and all help/ideas/thoughts are GREATLY appreciated!!!

Hi! If you wanted to DIY - you could see about having it at Vinoy Park or even the Pier. We're having a very intimate ceremony over in the park next to the Pier, there's a lot of grass and some palm trees and it's right on the water...Not sure what permits, if any, you'd need for Vinoy Park but it's definitely a fabulous spot!

Check out the Rusty Pelican. I read they're having a free open house this Saturday, June 19. I'll have to double check the times, but I think it starts at 11:00 AM??? That's a good time to check it out.

They have an outside place for the wedding and then the reception areas inside. It is on the bay, but no beach.

I went to the last one they had and it was incredible.

Tampa Bay Watch has a great lawn on the water. It's not a sandy beach, but it's a beautiful outdoor location. Everyone there is super nice too!

I got married in March at the Hilton Carillon Park in St. Pete (Feathersound area). It's a great hotel, very private, affordable, and it has a nature preserve area that is great for photos. The staff there was fantastic. They made everything so easy. I'd highly recommend! The event planner there is Wendy and she was great to work with. I would definitely take time to go check it out in person.
