If I was going to get married in Lee County, I'd get married at the Edison - Ford Homes.  Check this out for a unique wedding locale.  It's beautiful, and the people are very nice...

Check out Captiva Island Inn it is a short walk to both the beach and several good restaurants including Mucky Duck, Green Flash, Key Lime Bistro, RC Otters and the Bubble Room- just depends on the atmosphere you are looking for in a dinner and how many people. You might also contact Mucky Duck directly about a wedding ceremony and reception since they are right on the beach with AMAZING ocean and sunset views.

Other places to check out include Gulfshore grill  and Pink Shell Resort both directly on Fort Myers beach. A friend just planned her high school  reunion at Gulfshore and said they were great to work with.

I am getting married at Resort at Marina Village in Cape Coral which is beautiful- no beach but directly on the water with a lawn ceremony area and a great on-site restaurant. A restaurant venue may be your best bet to stay on budget. Good luck!

I think 50 people on 2000 in this area will be tight but not impossible. You may want to consider a lunch or brunch event as a money saver. Let us know if you need any other vendor recs!
