Does anyone know of a reliable florist in the Sarasota area? I've contacted the preferred vendors that the resort gave me & looked on the knot's resourses. I'm really having a problem with florists returning phone calls or emails! Any help is appreciated.

I'm using Beneva Flowers http://www.beneva.com/ They were a little pricier than some, but was able to work with me on their price and have been very responsive and helpful.  I also looked Flowers by Fudgie, and they were very good too.  Tiger Lily flowers was recommended also, but never had a chance to check them out.

We used Beneva. As pp said, thety are a bit pricier, but very attentive. On the day of the wedding, I was very impressed with the service. Our floral coordinator came to supervise the installation. It wasn't just drop and run. And the flowers lasted forever. I actually carried my bouquet home a week later. And it was hydrangias. Not exactly known for their longevity.

We are using Beneva also.  I also looked and got price quotes from Flowers by Fudgie, but I wasn't too impressed with the price quote and the inital process.  They didn't meet with me, but took my suggestions from a survey I filled out which then the pictures they sent me back were not at all what I was envisioning.  Beneva was great and they captured my essense.  They came right back to me with a quote a couple hours I left and it was a bit more than I wanted to spend.  I sent it back telling them what I wanted to spend and they went lower than that number.All and all I'm impressed and totally excited about my flowers.  Something that I wasn't even going to do from the start.

We are using Dana Dineen..she has had some really good feedback on the knot and is so affordable and will do whatever you want her to.
