Name Change Q

Hi Ladies,I usually post on the Philly board (where we got married) but were living in Tampa.  I was wondering what protocol is for changing name?  I know up north it's Social Security office/DMV..followed by bank, bla bla bla.  Same goes down here?TIA!

When Ichanged my name I did DMV, passport (this was new, I never had one before), bank.  I didn't even change my SS card until four months later.
