our boys... love em and hate em...

I don't post much here..  but perhaps someone out there is going through the same.  We are getting married in 2 months- plenty of time, but its starting to feel close.  Things are happening, mood is happy etc.   Here is my beef...  It seems as if you have the fiance' that says "whatever dear"  or the one that is really involved.  I have best of both worlds.. except when it has come to registering.  Sometimes he's in the mix, sometimes not.  Meaning, we have to register soon (yep, we are getting married in 2 months)   I went to a couple places, registered some stuff (pottery barn and restoration hardware) and he wants to choose the last place we register.  I'm so good with that, but why is it taking him a week to decide on the last place aka- he's a google maniac, pulling up review on how Home depot stinks, BB and beyond is good, return policy at Macy's is great etc...Whatever- just decide!  I love his involvement- but his involvement takes forever.  Anyone else in the same boat?

Not in the same boat as far as registering goes... but here's what I've decided... boys will be boys! And i'm pretty sure they do it not only to spite us but because they refuse to know any better! I gave FI the task of finding us a limo because his family "knows someone..." and he never got to it! Even though he knew the guy. He is the same way with Google and researching and such, but if his interest isn't in it, I can forget it! So I give him deadlines. Sounds awful. But if he says he'll help and it's something that needs to get taken care of, I give him a date or time or whatever to get it done, and for the most part that works. When guys are given definite, detailed instructions, they usually do much much better than if they are asked to do something with no time frame.

Lol the only thing my FI wants to be involved in is the cake. We already live together and have so much crap we haven't really registered cause we don't need anything. I think we picked a few things from target  bed sheets and bath towels and thats about it. But tell him this if he doesn't pick in 2 days your gonna pick the final place. And don't let him argue.
