Fishhawk Florist vs. Flowers by Fudgie

I went last week to meet with Flowers by Fudgie. She was wonderful and put together a very comprehensive quote. I appreciated that. However, I am curious to see what Fishhawk can do as far as "beating"their quote. It just seemed high. To me. This is also the first quote I got so maybe I'm dead wrong. I was quoted $2300 for the following:
-6 BM bouquets
-My bouquet (300)
-rental of an arch w/ fabric (300)
-lantern rental topped with one flower and greens for ceremony
-12 centerpieces
4- mother/gm corsages
-7 mens bout's.

Am i just being cheap? I really didnt want to go over 1500..
Does anyone mind sharing their flower quotes?
Thanks!

300 for YOUR bouquet alone?  WHat are the flowers and how big is your bouquet?  Without knowing that info yet, it DOES seem high...but it depends on the size of the arrangements and the particular flowers you want.

if you don't want to go over 1500 don't do it. You don't have to. Stephanie from FH is wonderful! give her a call.

My original quote from FH was $2000, but Stephanie was able to help me pick places to bring it down. I am really excited about working with FH, and I hear nothing but amazing things. They are ver professional and have great ideas. Even if you decide to go with Flowers by Fudge, you can still tell them you need to pay less than $XXX and see what they can do for that amount.

I went to a wedding Saturday night where they spent over $7,000 on flowers.  There were no bridesmaids or groomsmen and no flowers at the wedding.  It was all in the reception.  I was shocked at how skimpy it was - and the little white rose bouquet by the escort cards was held together by a RUBBER BAND - in a clear glass container...and they looked like they were ready to keel over!

I've been to a couple of weddings/events where Fishhawk did the flowers and I can tell you the amount and quality of the flowers that Fishhawk does just blew this other event away - and I know these other events didn't spend anywhere near that much $.

I don't believe in pitting one against the other, but give Stephanie a call and see what she can do within your budget.

I LOVE STEPHANIE! It doesn't hurt to give Fishhawk a call and see what she can do :) My bouquet, 4 bouts, 3 BMs bouquets and 7 centerpieces were $650 from Fishhawk to give you an idea. However, it has a lot to do with what flowers you pick.
