Anyone get their pics back yet? I'm getting really frustrated about this! I emailed Katie and she basically told me she has tons of other stuff going on and she would email when she got around to it! I didn't put money and time into this just to have her blow me off! AAAHHH!Sorry about the vent...just needed to see if anyone else had talked to her!

What do you mean by "did you get your pics back yet?" Are you talking a tangible album?  Or have you not had your pictures published to the site yet?

Hmmm...It took a little while for me to get my proofs...but I know the other girls that had sooner weddings got their proofs fairly quickly.  That was also in APRIL when wedding season hadn't gone full-swing. Knowing Katie, I'm going to assume that she didn't blow you off and inform you that other things were more important.....  I'm going to guess that she probably gave you a list of things she was completing so that you had a better timeline of when to see your pictures posted.Maybe cut her some slack and be confident she will follow through with a fabulous product and ON TIME for your wedding.  Though, I COMPLETELY understand wanting to see your pictures!  I was chomping at the BIT to see mine! ;-)  She does edit every single one and I know that takes time, as well.

I'm glad to hear Katie did a great job for you. However, she has not contacted me once to say there would be a delay...I however, have emailed 3 times! I just keep getting short responses and what seem like excuses. Oh well, we will see what happens....

Email is grand and all, but a phone call usually does wonders.

She edits them in the order of whose event is earliest. She's also had some issues with her daughter's health, and like PP said, it's high-wedding season. She's probably pretty busy and is trying to juggle all her clients best she can. Saying she's giving you short answers...is she emailing you via her Blackberry? Because her emails to me on her BB are always shorter than regular emails. So, maybe that's the reason you get that vibe. I seriously doubt she's blowing you off. She's seriously not that kind of person.

Hey, I haven't got my all my pics from my MAY wedding.  She's been super swamped, I'd personally rather wait and get quality work than rush her.

Thanks everyone...i hear what your saying...but its also my gift for FI so it needs to be completed by wedding day...just makes me nervous that it may not be done in time...

If it's any consolation, I've never seen a bad review (i.e. "they didn't get in done in time," etc.)  but I have heard great things about the quality of the product.  I'm starting to freak about things at random moments as well-- just try to relax about this and focus your energy on something else that needs to be finished.  As my mom always said, "A watched pot never boils..." :::deep breath:::

Your wedding day is in 2 months.  I know, for a fact, her turnaround on those albums is less than 3 days for delivery TO HER DOOR once she orders them from the lab.You will be fine.My wedding is one week after yours and she's not going to order my album until the last week of September.  I think you're being a little unrealistic in what you expect of her.  She will get it done in time and she will do a fabulous job.  There is no sense in freaking out about it right now. The marathon was just 2.5 weeks ago, right?  I'd be willing to put money on her having them up this week.Breathe.  Work on other things on your to-do list and let her do her thang!
