Question about the RD

OK, so I haven't even started thinking about my RD until my FMIL mentioned it the other day.  Ours it actually going to be more like a "rehearsal brunch" since we have to have ours at 10:00am the day before.

I'm wondering...are we expected to invite the spouses of our bridal party and those performing at the wedding as well?  For instance, a friend of ours from church is going to play and sing a song on the guitar during the ceremony.  Does his wife need to come to the rehearsal and "dinner".  I assume that is proper, but keep in mind that 99% of our 150 guests are locals so it's not like they would be left by themselves in a hotel room in an unfamiliar city.  Just wondering what you all think...

Yes, it's proper to invite the spouses. It might be a bit ackward to have people sitting there watching so you may want to send out invitations to the RD separate from the actual rehearsal info.

Agreed 100%, you should invite the spouse or long term significant other to the dinner.
