videographer?

As you guys know I like to bounce ideas off of you guys....with 2 1/2 weeks to go we are looking at a videographer. CRAZY I know, but we got a phone call last night....

Has anyone heard of A Keepsake Video.

Normally I would be creeped out if a vendor called me with out me contacting them first, but we hadn't really considered a videographer before. He has our date open and is willing to work with us.

What do you guys thing/know about them?

I haven't personally heard of them so I can't give you any feedback there.  But, I will tell you that I was torn on this decision too.  It was something I REALLY wanted but then my dad couldn't see justifying the expense.  In the end, I booked David at Trinity Wedding Video (http://trinityweddingvideo.com/) and I am so happy with my decision.  He has been awesome to work with so far and such a great resource.  He was also willing to work with our budget.  I know a few other ladies on here used him as well and the reviews I've read have been great!  GL!

I haven't heard of them. I think videography is a great idea, though, I'm really excited about having our ceremony on video because it's so personalized to us, and it will be fun to look back on special moments from the reception. I would meet him in person and view some samples of his work. That's what we did with our videographer (Cara from Hearts Video) and seeing the quality of her work, plus how nice she was and easy to get along with, really sold us.

I haven't heard of them either. But do they have a website? When I was looking for a videographer, if they didn't have a website/blog where I could view recent weddings, I didn't even consider them. When you're spending that much on a DVD, you really want to make sure it's captured in a way that makes you happy you spent the money. If you like their work, go for it!

I was in the same boat as you.  I never even thought of a videographer but a few girls mentioned the fact that the day goes by so incredible fast, it feels like a whirlwind.  I remember how fast my MOH's wedding went so I can only imagine how fast mine would go.  I knew that I wouldn't regret having a video, I would only regret not having one.  So I splurged on the videographer and I am so excited for the final project that I won't even be bummed when the wedding and honemoon is over.  He has quickly become my absolute favorite vendor.  He worked with me on a budget to come up with a custom plan.  Love them!

We found Travis Brogen and I'm so glad we did! His prices are super reasonable and the quality of work is fantastic! He doesn't have a website, but if you google him you can see his work on Vimeo.

    Good luck!
