Is it normal...

I was going over our contract with the RH and they have included a 20% tip before tax.  Is it normal for the tip to be taxed?
TTC #1 since 09/10

    Wow. Good question. I know it's normal to add tip on top of the total for large groups, but I don't think it's normal to tax the tip. I would question that myself.

    yes that is one weird thing about weddings.... the price was structured this was at all the reception places I looked at  in FL :(

    I don't know, are any tips taxable? Look at it that way, when you work in the restaurant as a waiter/waitress, and all you get paid is tips, are they taxable? If that wasn't legal, i don't think would do it, may be i'm wrong?
