Bringing in our own drinks

Hello ladies!

Looking for advice? We are getting married in 18 days (eeeek!) but one of the last things we have to do is buy the alcohol. We are only allowed beer, wine and 2 signature drinks (that I have down already), but what I am wondering is if anyone else had to buy their own beer/wine for their venue and if so, where did you get it from? I used an evite drink calculator but not sure if I should buy more/less or about what it suggests? Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this?

Thanks!!!

Not with weddings but other events, I would buy more/less depending on your crowd, you know if people in your crowd are dinkers or not and should over or underestimate accordingly.

Also I checked out liquor at costco and it was pretty reasonable!

Girl, ask me for my reciept and I'll show you!! LOLOL

We killed two and a half kegs and ALL the wine. The drink calculators did not work for our crowd!

We signed up for Total Wine's email list and they send out coupons every so often for $1 off wine... so we used that for 24 bottles.

I actually do have a friend in the Air Force but she won't be here until the day before the wedding so that is cutting just a little too close, lol. Thanks ladies!

Ask ABC Wine and Liquor if you can drink back unopened bottles for a a refund.

Try Sam's Club. That is where we are planning on purchasing the wine for our rehearsal dinner since we will be hosting it at our place.
