is 650 for 4 hours out of the norm? I didn't want to go over 450 but some of the quotes im getting is 575 and up! I mean i have wiggle room in the budget but i wanted to know if thats typical here or should i keep looking?

That seems a little high to me, but that might be because I am getting married on a Sunday and prices might be a little lower for Sunday weddings. Have you checked Grant Hemmond? They worked with my budget.

That's about normal. I'd say you may be able to get down to $550 but you'd be compromising quality.

I paid 700 for all day, but used him 4-10.  When he said all day, I asked if he wanted to dj the getting ready time. He said yes, but was joking. Our dj ended up being a good friend.

Celebrations of Tampa Bay is $595 for 4 hours. We are using them for DJ, Photo, and Video and have been wonderful to work with so far. They have videos of their DJ services on their website too.

It depends entirely on time of year, day of week, etc. Grant Hemond wouldn't lower their price for me because my wedding is in October on a Saturday night, which is busy season for them. I think it sounds like a pretty decent deal.

Thanx ladies! I just always thought that 100 an hour was typical so when i started gettong quotes 550+ I was like WTF!!!! I want to do lighting also so I hope i can get a good deal with grant hemond, just waiting for a call back!

I thought I would add: i just booked with Grant Hemmond for the end of February, which is still part of the off-season.  My rate was $695, with lighting for 4 hours on a Saturday night.

well be lucky that ur is off season because mine is March 10th and for Dj and lighting its 1090 for me! which I am NOT going with! I think im gonna go with Celebrations of tampa!

Celebrations is great! Try to get Randy who is the owner but any of their DJs seem really good!

i almost booked with them brair but my guy went way down on his price and told me they do uplighting also! so he has given me the best deal! Thank u ladies so much!
