So I’ve been away from the boards for a while due to school and work (got sent last minute to Afghanistan - I’m back now)... I can’t handle all three things so I’m taking a break from school until after the wedding.

Even though I’ve been away from the boards I have still gotten some planning done:) and have managed to check a few things off my list. 

 

Photographer: I’m going with Rich Auger. I’m super excited because although he hasn’t done a ton of weddings the few that he has are amazing and I love his artistic style.

Invites: are ordered woohoo... now I’m just waiting on them to get here... I found sheliamariedesigns on ETSY she was super nice, totally saw my vision and I can’t wait to see the final product

Make-up and Hair: I have my hair trial with Cari from KyleLynn Weddings this Saturday... I know lots of other brides have used her and their hair and makeup came out beautiful so I’m super excited www.kylelynn.com/weddings/">http://www.kylelynn.com/weddings/

 

DJ: I’ve narrowed it down to 2. Grant Hemmond and Delight Entertainment... I’ve heard nothing but good things about both so I’m meeting with them this week and plan on having one chosen before the weekend.

 

I think that’s it... Luckily our venue (Clearwater Hilton) comes with a bunch of stuff... 

I obviously need to choose the DJ and I still need to pick a florist, BM’s dresses (ae still a mystery) well in general all bridal party clothing but I think that’s it for the major stuff then after that I can concentrate on all the details... Wish me luck and if you have any advice I am completely open to it

Please let me know what you think of Grant Hemmond after your meeting. I think they are who we are going to go with. I have only heard good things about them but haven't spoke to them in person yet but we have done a ton of emailing. Please let me know what you think of them. THANKS omaranamanda@aol.com

Congrats on your checks and welcome back!  I can tell you as a newlywed that the DJ's at Grand Hemond are all great!  We used Tony Lange and he went above and beyond for us on our big day.  You can't go wrong with them.

Working with Grant Hemond has been a great experience thus far.  If you are a planner like me, they can assign you with a DJ early and let you talk with that DJ to feel them out.  If you like them, they will book that DJ for your wedding date.  My weddings not till April, but I am squared away with Corey who keeps me updated on new song choices and ideas.  They have been WONDERFUL!
