Vendor Reviews ( LONG).. with PIP

I know my wedding is still 12 days away but, I wanted to get some of my revies done ahead of time. These are my internet vendor reviews and after My honeymoon I will post for my Day of Vendors:

**** ALL VENDORS ARE RATED ON A+ to F- SCALE****

Etsy Vendors

2BIRDSTONE:
A+ She is so extremely patietnt. Between me getting sick right after asking her to do the digital design andbeing unable to respond to her e-mails or send her the files she needed. After she sent kme the 1st set of proof she did not complain about all the minor details I wanted corrected ( ie no drop shadows etc). The second set of proofs came back perfect... until I realized that the directions I had given her were WRONG... She had no problem going back and redoing the directions insert for me. Thanks to Moonstone for getting me her information. She is a doll to work with and reasonably priced as well.

SEWAMUSED

A+ GORGEOUS TOWEL WRAPS... she kept me up to date through the whole process. It took longer than she expected because she couldn't find the quality towel she wanted. I appreciated her attention to detail and persistence to find nothing but the best. If er you order from her give her min 3 weeks due to her diligence in finding the best

PHEONIXLASER:

A+ All I had to do was send them the font I wanted and they had it to me in a week! It is exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I could have asked for is it being a little thicker Depth wise. Great company to work with.

MISSCHARLOTTE:
B+ The labels were EXACTLY what I was looking for. She was very quick in completing them and shipping. She was very easy to work with and if had any questions about your notes wasn't afraid to ask more questions. I was bummed when I went to attach the labels to the tic tacs that the saying on the top didn't fit perfectly it should have been moved down a tad more. Since this is what she specializes in I was disappointed that they weren't exact.

SWEETIE BUCKLES:
C-   I posted alchemy for a damask stencil using a certain Damask Pattern, the quality was very cheap and I was unable to create the picture frames I was hoping to make for my Bridesmaids. She did spend a lot of time hand cutting out the pattern and for that I am appreciative. I guess you get what you pay for.

KIZETTE:
B- Maybe I'm being picky here, but I was disappointed with the quality of the work. The Garter is exactly how I asked for it, but where it is sewn together is lacking to be desired. I would have much rather her attached the bow and Mr & Mrs. Pacman to the Ugly part in hopes of covering it up. She was quick and very sweet but work was disappointing.

Non-Etsy

Cardsandpockets.com:
A+  They were so great to work with, their customer service and products are top notch. I purchased all of the pieces for my pocket folds from them.. to realize I hadn't ordered any of my RSVP envelopes. I placed a second order for ym envelopes and sent them a quick e-mail asking them to group my orders and send in the same package. My 1st order was almost ready to be shipped out and they reopened my box and put the envelopes in so I wasn't charge for shipping twice. The refunded me the amount I paid for the shipping on my 2nd order within 2 weeks. My only complaint about them is that they overcharge for shipping, but when I asked them about flat rate shipping, they were in the process of getting that set up to be able to offer us better rates.

A+  They were always courteous and reasonably priced, shipped items next day after purchase. Always received items in great condition. FREE SHIPPING was a plus! Would recommend them to any DIY bride.

Kay Jewlers:
A+ DH went to Kay Jewelers down in Fort Lauderdale to pick out my E-ring since they were having a special diamond event down there. When he bought my e-ring, he also purchased our wedding bands and had them sent off to be sized. 6 months later Fi decided he didn't really like the ring he had ogtten for himself so he went back to Kay in Brandon to look again. This time he found the ring he truely wanted and did not settle. Kay Jewlers took the sized ring back and sent off the new one to be sized NO QUESTIONS ASKED. They also Followed up with him 2months later to ensure everything was exactly how he wanted it.... Now that is Customer Service.

In Kay Jewelers Policy it states they will not  accept sized items back.. but they were more than happy to assist DH with everything

Reid Compton Photography:
I found Reid through an Facebook Advertisement. As a Student doing Freelance Photography I knew prices would be great, but wasn't 100% sold that they would be great quality. I had looked at his sight and loved his pictures but knew Artists put up their best work. Reid had the Cd of edited images to me in 2 days and I was thrilled with the work. I was disappointed that most of the images were just converted to B&W rather than truly edited with an artistic feel.

VISTAPRINT:
They have Great customer service but the business Card magnets lack to be desired. I ordered my custom designed magnets from them because I could get the magnet and Postcards free all I would need to buy is the postage and Envelopes. I should have trusted my gut feeling that a company who can offer so many things free doesn't have the best quality stuff. The Magnets were flimsy and after using their templates to design the magnets, everything came out much smaller than I had designed. I contacted their Customer Service and they were more than happy to reprint them for me free of charge or give me a credit. I opted for the credit since I didn't want to delay sending out the STDs any longer.

While the magnets were less than desirable, the Post cards I ordered from them were heavy duty and PERFECT!

PostNet on North Dale Mabry:
B+ I couldn't pass on this deal. While I was content (not elated) with the end result they were great to work with and kept me in the loop the entire time. I sent the PDF and Tiff files just as they had requested. Due to the way their printer work they had to re size my images to smaller than what I would have preferred, but every time they would call and Confirm the dimensions with me so that I knew what to expect, which was great, but when it came down to the cutting there were times where they didn't cut close enough to the image so I couldn't use every copy I had them make. (luckily I had them make 99 copies of everything when I only needed 75)

I would recommend them to any other bride because they are really friendly and willing to work with you on a budget. They spent 3 days working on my stuff (due to some technology mishaps) and still only charged me $20 for the labor since I supplied the paper and images.

Thanks for sharing! It's nice to give vendor reviews for all the details. I'll need to do that after my wedding. Less than 30 days!
