I am getting married there in May of this year.  Its a destination wedding.  I live in CT.  I have been to the resort 2 times to take care of the wedding stuff.  It is a really beautiful resort with a lot of stuff to do.  My coordinator is great.  All the vendors in the area are wonderful and really helpful.  Knock on wood, so far so good.  If you need any help or have specific questions, just email me at grilloj1@yahoo.com.

    Hi Leanne,

I just went to South Seas this past weekend. It is a GORGEOUS resort but pricey. It's a $3000 minimum ste-up fee for the ceremony only and a $10,000 food and beverage minimum. The resort is all inclusive, however your guests will need to book their rooms and they start at $250 per night. Of course the resort will room-block up to 10 rooms for you but for some of my guests this isn't practical.

The food and chef is amazing and you can have your cake catered onto the island. They have a florist on-site and an approved vendor list. Plates start at $170 p/p not including an open bar.

I loved the Kings Crown Lawn but I didn't like the reception sites. Especially with a large wedding. I dont think you could comfortably fit more than 70 in there. The dance area was nice but the wood floors were all scratched up. You could tell the recption hall was built un-even and I got a feeling I was on a slant, especially in the brick room where they have the bar set up.

Goodluck!!! I decided South Seas just wasn't for me but it could very well be a perfect choice for you.
