Tampa Bay Area girls

I need some help. For my bachelorette party we are wanting to start of the night with dinner. I want to go to a nice resturant in either south Tampa, or downtown/channelside area. Any suggestions are appriciated! =)

TIA!

Mangroves in South Tampa Hyde Park is great...we had my Bridal Shower there and it was amazing.  The decor was very chic and modern and the food was amazing:)

In Channelside, check out Oishi (sushi restaurant on the 2nd floor). I've been there several times and it's delicious! Nice blend of modern and traditional decor with a hibachi grill and full bar.

I second Ceviche's! My favorite spot.

    It depends what you like.

I would also say Ceviche. Tapas is a lot of fun; Sangria plus food meant to share is lots of fun; SoHo area.

Berns is always delicious; Hyde Park area.

The Columbia in Ybor is really good.

Byblos  has great Lebanese food and belly dancers certain nights.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head

I love the Wine Exchange in Hyde Park.

I've had many parties at Cheap in Hyde Park. I <3 it there (but I'm also addicted to their strawberry champagne sangria).

Mm yes the Strawberry Champagne sangria at Cheap is soo yummy! They have decent tapas plates too at Cheap and it's less expensive than Ceviche. Cork is really nice too, right across the street. They only have beer and wine but they have a cute upstairs area where you ladies can hang out and drink wine. They have a good small menu too. For dinner, if you're not worried about the budget, Ocean Prime (at International Plaza) is an AMAZING restaurant. We go there for special celebrations. A less expensive option is 717 on South Howard (next to starbucks). Of course, anywhere in Channelside with a bunch of your girlfriends is fun too!
