We didn't really decide that until the day of.  Anyone who did a super awesome job got a nice tip.  Sorry, I wasn't more help.

Ditto this question- how much and who to? Almost all of our vendors own their own businesses, but I'm not sure who we tip and how much.

I've heard if the vendor owns their own business you don't tip but that just feels weird!  Would love to hear opinions on this one too.

I would love to hear the answer for this as well. I have no idea either and most of my vendors own their own companies but I agree with PP it feels weird not to tip.

I gave our DOC & hotel wedding coordinator $120, hair and makeup 20% of the total, catering manager & DJ $100, ceremony musician $40, flowers already had delivery fee in them so I didn't tip and transportation already included gratuity as well. I think that's it and I didn't think about if they were the owner or not.
