DRESS ALTERATIONS

Hi Ladies,

I got my dress yesterday and it fit perfectly, except for 2 inches that needed to be taken up. I got my dress at Demetrios and they wanted to charge me $200 just to hem the bottom?! Mind you the dress is very simple, no beading, nothing. It's a Cosmobella 7411 dress. Does this seem a little ridiculous?

Does anyone know of any good seamstresses in the Tampa/Sarasota area??

    actually that doesn't seem absolutely ridiculous...a bit high, but not completly out of the ordinary.  Everyone seems to recomend Daisy...(I haven't used her but other knotties here have).

    i have a lady who does alterations that i was recommended and I can give you her address she is is in tampa she lives by memorial hwy.
