Hi ladies. I was wondering if you could help me out. If you were a BM would you rather have a gift certificate to Sephora or Mitchell's Salon as a gift? Thanks!

    Personally, Sephora. I'm a makeup junkie and shop there fairly regularly. I don't go to Mitchells since I have a fave salon. Ppl that go to Mitchells though sure do love getting there gift certs!

    Mitchells.  Even if they get their hair cut somewhere else, a massage, manicure, or pedicure is always great.  Another idea - get your BM's gift cards to what they would like best.  The gift cards don't have to all be for the same store.  Personalize it to their liking/hobbies.

    I think Sephora. They have all kinds of stuff and even though a spa GC is great, the stuff from Sephora may be more practical

    I would personally love a gift card to Mitchell's Salon.  I love that place so much and like pp said, even if they don't get their hair cut there, they can always go for a massage, mani, pedi, facial, etc.  HTH!

    Since there is a very mixed consensus on here, I'm guessing your BMs probably have different tastes too. I would definitely go with what a pp suggested, and personalize it for each BM. GL!

    Thanks for all the help. I think all of my girls would really like either one so I figured I would take a poll here. I was originally thinking about doing a smaller amount to both, but personally I would rather have more money to spend at one place. I was always happy to get Mitchells' gc, but sometimes someone would get me one for $20 or $25 which I was very happy with, but then I had to spend some of my own money to get a service (since nothing is really in that price range) and then add on tip on top of that.

    I vote Mitchell's, b/c I don't wear a lot of make-up (nor do I spend much more than $10 on any cosmetic item) and a mani, pedi, or massage is always a good treat. :)

    I agree tb, their services are quite pricey, and some girls may not have the extra money to use the Mitchell's GC. Sephora has all sorts of things at all sorts of prices.
