I've been really pretty calm through this whole planning process, but tonight was the night that I almost snapped.
First - my phone is ringing off the hook; calls, texts, emails. People who want to stay with people, people who want rides from the airport, etc. Are you kidding me? Really?
Second - my MOH IMs me and say, "Um. Love. Your hotel doesn't have anymore rooms available in the block." Invites just went out a week ago and we had 30 rooms each night! Guess I need to call and have that increased tomorrow!
Third - FI doesn't understand why we have to provide the DJ with info on who is doing toasts. He thinks they should all be impromptu once people are drunk and silly.
Fourth - One of my BMs informs me that she will be driving here from TX, with her two dogs (very large dogs), and will need a hotel at Clearwater Beach that can accommodate pets. (I'm pretty sure that the only ones that MAY are flea bags).
Fifth - FI's Methodist, I'm Jewish. His Brother/BM asked to do the blessing and FI doesn't understand why I asked that he PLEASE keep it non-denominational. My Jewish family would die right there if his brother started talking about Jesus during our reception. Neither FI or I are very religious and we agreed on a non-denominational wedding. Yet, he doesn't think it's right to ask his very religious brother NOT to speak about Jesus!
75 more days? Are you kidding me?
