Spray Tan in Tampa

Hi everyone,
Anyone recommend a good place to get spray tanned in Tampa?  I have never done it before so I don't know too much about what I should be looking for.  Someone has mentioned mystic tan, others having it airbrushed.  I am pale pale pale and would like to get some color before the wedding.  I have time to practice it out since my wedding is in June.  I'd love any suggestions and/or recommendations!

Thanks!

Mystic Tan is at most tanning salons, I prefer Planet Beach. My suggestion is that if you have never tanned before to start with a regular level 1 bed and then do the mystic. The regular tanning bed will allow your pores to open more and the color to absorb deeper into the skin so all the color isn't sitting on the surface and giving you the dreaded ORANGE look.

I use to go tanning daily and right before graduation and the wedding I was taking advantage of the Mysitc to get a deeper color. My suggestion is to be sure to talk to the salon and ensure they have upgraded their mystic so you don't see the color right as you walk out of the booth. You want it to come on gradually. Be aware you can't shoer for 4 to 6 hours after you do mysitc so it doesn't run and you get streaks.

The Body Bar Spa... Kara does it by hand, and it's $25 for full body. She does a great job.

Thank you for your suggestions.  I probably won't use the tanning bed before because the whole reason I want to spray tan is to avoid sun/ uv exposure.  Interesting though about it opening your pores.

I looked at the body bar website.  Looks great and her prices are reasonable.  How long does it usually last?  Her website says 7-10 days.  What day should I do it before the wedding and do you think it will get on my dress?

    Thanks for your advice!

It will not get on your dress-- you should do it about two days beforehand and that will give you plenty of time to dry (and you will be able to shower). She can give you all the instructions you will need, as she is doing mine also :-)
