http://www.jleighphoto.com/I saw a recommendation on these boards when someone asked about affordable photographers. Jessica is located in Orlando, so there was a $100 travel charge for her to come to Tampa, but she was well worth it!
Her prices are extremely competitive, with packages starting at $799. There is no need to worry about quality either. I thought her website was nice and I liked her style, so I hired her for my wedding.
I was worried about the location of the wedding and reception, as it wasn't near water or anything that would offer particularly great pictures. She did her homework. She came a little early and scoped out the area and she had some amazing ideas for shots. I never realized how pretty the setting was until I saw how she was setting us up. The pictures are fantastic!
In addition to having a great eye, she kept all of us on task. She hurried us when we needed to be hurried and I was amazed by all the shots she managed to get before the ceremony. Everyone in the wedding party loved her and thinks the photos were very pretty and unique.
Since it is peak wedding time, it took about five weeks to get the photos, but they were worth the wait. I even had some technical difficulties with the CD she sent, so she had another one in the mail the next day!
She was a great photographer with a great attitude - very laid back, cool, and made us feel at ease. If you're looking for great photos and a price you can live with, I would suggest checking her website.
