About a year ago when my husband and I were looking for wedding photographers, we knew we had a short time to make a decision. After we visited several photographer's websites and reviewed general pricing info, we called or emailed a few that we liked. (Most were recommendations from the knot!) Like a lot of the girls on this board, we wanted Jason Angelini. But once we picked a date and location, he was already book. We asked him to recommend someone he felt had similar style and a great personality. He highly recommended Vadim from Tampa.
So we called Vadim, and he was excited and flexible enough to meet us that day. (I think we had to fly out the next day too so we made our deadline just in time!) We loved his style and were immediatley comfortable with him! And his portfolio was gorgeous.
When it got closer to the wedding, we did a pre-wedding shoot in Ybor and downtown Tampa. I don't think the three of us wanted to stop, because our 1 hour session ended up being 2.5 hours and I don't think any of us noticed! The day of the wedding was fabulous too! Our guests thought he was amazing and everyone kept telling us how great he was!! (They haven't even seen the pictures yet!)
After the wedding, he was very quick to get the pictures done and we couldn't be more thrilled!
