NWR: Downtown Parking

I just got a new job downtown and I'm looking for a good place to park. My building is at 4th and Vine and I have been told to park at the Freedom Center's parking garage for $4.50 a day, but I was wondering if you ladies knew of anything better/cheaper. I'd love to pay monthly if possible, however Fountain Square garage is $195/mo. and Central Parking lots are $155/mo. both are a little pricey for me. When I interned at the Courthouse I payed $3.00 a day, but those lots (behind the justice center, also called "the pit") are way too far to walk. Thanks for any help you girls might have :)

Look at the lots by Paul Brown. My fiance's company parks there and its roughly 40 bucks a month. They are all city lots. Good luck.

I work at the Justice Center (2nd shift) so I park at the meters, b/c it's cheaper for me since they are free after 5. Sorry I'm no help there, or I would have reccommended the pit!

Thanks! I'll definitely check out Paul Brown's lots. I can definitely handle $40 a month!! Ninjette... I miss working over that way! There were definitely more parking options. Lucky you getting to park for free at the meters!

There's a lot at 7th and Elm, not too far from you, that is $4 a day. It's one of the Macy's garages.

I used to work at 4th and Walnut (now I'm at 6th and Vine), and parked at the Freedom Center.  They do have parking passes there, so you may want to see about getting on the waiting list.  It used to be $80/month, but is probably $90 or so now.  I park at the Garfield Garage now (probably too far away for you--9th and Vine), and it's $90/month, and they're open 24 hours.  That's nice if you want to come downtown for an event--you can still use the garage. Also, if you check the Downtown Cincinnati website, they have a link to parking, and list a bunch of garages and lots with pricing and contact information.

I work in Carew Tower and I park in the Tower Place Garage and pay $130 a month.  They take it directly out of my paycheck, so that is very convenient.  It is nice because it is connected to the Skywalk System so getting to-and-from my car isn't bad on rainy and snowy days.

I second the lots around Paul Brown.  I park in Lot B, which is right next the Freedom Center garage.  Find out if your company offers parking at a pre-tax rate, it's even cheaper that way, deducted from your paycheck before taxes are calculated.  It's not a far walk at all.  The FC garage has nearly a 3 year waiting list at my company.

I'm actually just looking at the parking list now from downtowncincinnati.com (thanks kel!) and will call about Lot B tomorrow. As long as the list is fairly up to date, they still have spots available. Thanks so much everyone for you input!
