need help - can't choose which dress!

Hello ladies,

I'm in love with two completely different dresses and I don't know what to do!

I have pictures of me in them, but am going to just put up the links of the dresses online instead.  Let me know your opinions!

Dress #1 - have had this picked out for many many years, loved it on me, changing the back to a corset, and is in the budget!

Dress #2 - found a pic of this and went into try it on, loved it on me as well, is slightly above what i wanted to pay but could make it happen...

Help!  Need your opinions!  This is all I think about night and day!

I like the second one better.  It is so unqiue and original, imo.  However, you will look great in both, what does your gut say?

That's my problem - my gut wants both!  Lol, most of the time my gut wants dress 1 because I have had my eye on it for so many years... then I found dress 2 and it blew me away... Basically, it's the dress i've always dreamed of versus the dress i happened to fall upon.  Boo decisions!  I'm going to go to both places again tomorrow after work and try on the dresses back to back, in the same day, hoping that will help.  These boutiques are going to think I'm a crazy lady!

I really like #2.  It's beautiful.  Where is your wedding?  That could also play a key in which dress.  I think #2 is more romantic.

Which one did you not want to take off the most?   That's when I knew....I wanted to leave it on all day!

I like #1 because I feel it will flatter you now matter how you feel, lol, and you might be more self conscious the way teh second one fits. Plus it makes you look like a Princess:)

My wedding is going to be on St. Pete Beach... I know that this piece of info is only going to make you point more to dress two!  I didn't want to take off dress two - and I thought that that might be a sign, but then I'm thinking it was because of the corset back! Haha, the lacing up just makes the dress feel so good on... and also, if I get the first dress I can get the back in a corset, so that shouldn't matter!

I'm actually feeling relieved that I'm getting some people saying dress two and some saying dress one - makes me feel like I guess either way I'll be ok!

Dress 1 is beautiful.

Dress 2 has two problems:  the dropped waist cuts you at your hips, which isn't really flattering to anyone even if they have small hips, and the skirt looks like a bedspread.

i say dress 1.  i dont know your figure but i agree with the person above me.. i would feel like my love handles were bulging the whole night LOL. im not crazy about the flowers on dress 2 either. i think it looks a little messy.

Imo #2 works better if you are getting married on the beach - seems lighter and airy than #1.  I really LOVE #2! Like ttnoles said, its unique and totally different!

Ouch - I absolutely love the skirt of dress 2!  I guess that's what I get for asking for opinions :-P  I thought I'd feel more self-conscious in dress 2 like some of you are saying, but because of the corset back it's actually very flattering and feels really good!

I tried both dresses on again today, in the same day this time, to try to gain some sort of insight.  It didn't work, other than I love both of them even more, lol.  I will say I was leaning toward dress 1 at first, then went to leaning toward dress 2.

Half of my bridesmaids that I showed the pics of ME in the dress go for dress 1, half go for dress 2 - and everyone agrees that both are flattering and both are lovely, so either way I guess I win!

Anyway, thanks everyone for your opinions!  Wish me luck that an answer comes to me sometime!
