PLUS SIZE GOWNS

  I'm planning a trip out to try on wedding dresses.  for a plus size bride its hard to find anything anywhere besides davids bridal (i would like to try to avoid).  I'm also instertested in maybe having someone custom make my gown....Any ideas for bridal salons with plus size dresses or custom wedding dress makers?

    Look at Mori Lee gowns. They suit curvy women well. Bridal and Formal has plenty of them!

    I ended up getting my dress at David's but did go to the Reading bridal district and all the stores had plus sizes.

    I am very plus size and actually went to everything in reading, davids, wendys, kostovos, etc. I went with Fabulous Bridal and they ordered my dress (took measuremets) and I am customizing it somewhat. YOu don't actually get to wear the dress but get it pinned on you so you know what it would look like.

    I got mine at Cincinnati Bride in the reading bridal district. They have dresses you can try on up to size 26/28 I believe (Not sure what size you wear but they do have dresses in that size.) Check out Bonny dresses, that's what mine is, style 1818. It's amazing, they have lots of beautiful gowns.

    Make sure you check out Jamie Jovanna in Reading.  It may not look like the upscale dress shop you envision from television, but the customer service is tops!  I ordered a Marys Bridal gown and loved it!  They have dresses in various sizes to try on as well---not just the standard size 10

    I forgot to say that Fabulous Bridal is in Covington. It is worth checking out the reading stores (bridal and formal and Cincinnati bride) but they didn't really have that many dresses for plus sizes (at least that I could find).

    I bought my gown at bridal and formal, plus size, but they didn't have many options, I felt, for plus size, but there were some.  I love how it turned out though, a perfect fit when it came in.  If only I were a little taller.
