Hi girls! Let the wedding planning begin!

Hi!! My name is Angela and I just got engaged on Saturday!! Even though we just got engaged...we've been talking about our wedding for months. We have always talked about a beach wedding....but not we are debating on whether to have a beach wedding (Siesta Key area) or one around here (Pittsburgh). My head is spinning. I think there are pros and cons of each. Any advice you girls can give? There are so many options: Beach wedding with reception back here.......Beach wedding with beach reception..........or just everything back here. Advice will be must appreciated!

    I'm sure it would be a challenge to plan from up there, but it would be totally worth it!  I vote for doing it all down here if your guests will be able to make it.  But I'm biased-I love my state!

    FI is from Pittsburgh and we moved down here 3 years ago. I always wanted a island wedding and we are doing it with leaving the state. Many family members are flying down for him and other parts of the country for me. What month are you planning on getting married?
