 I was wondering how far in advance should we register for our wedding or bridal shower...

    I registered in January, and am getting married in November.  Honestly, it just depends on how much you are registering for and when you want to go.  If you are having a shower thrown for you I would say register at least a month before the invites go out.  That way you can tweak it if necessary and people have plenty of options from what to get you.

    I registered in April and my shower was in July and I am getting married in October.  I agree with ttnoles, in really depends on when you want to and how much you are registering for.

    We just registered a few weeks ago and my wedding is in October.  Although you edit your registry a lot before you decide so I say, the earlier, the better so you have time to survey everything you've chosen :)
