We did our professional pics during cocktail hour out on the beach. Headed back in and went into the ladies changing area to refresh and do my bustle. I was in there with 2 bridesmaids and my mom. There were also 2 ladies in there that were members of the Ritz-Carlton Beach Club (where wedding was held).
So, I walk in and they go "Ohh, a bride". And I smile. THen about 10min later after they finish changing and I am just standing there getting my bustle done, one woman gets pretty close to my face and says:
"Can I ask you a question?" I say "Sure"
SHe says "Will you love your husband as much as you do today if he cheats on you?" My jaw along with everyone elses hit the floor. After computing what she said I said "That is a very inappropiate question to ask me" she said "No its not, answer me". To which my 1 bridesmaids (husbands sister) said "You need to get out of here right now".
It was shocking and pretty horrible. My mom was crying, I was pissed, and then my husband found out and went right up to her and said "What did you just say to my wife?" and she said she didnt do anything. She was clearly drunk, and this was just not something I expected on my wedding day and at the Ritz Carlton. Our wedding coordinator is a guy so he was not in the changing room with us, but immeditely escorted her out and came to my attention and was very apologetic.
Unreal. It was shocking and unbelievable at the time, but we are trying to ignore it now or laugh it off. Clearly she has been hurt and to stoop SO LOW to say something like that to a BRIDE on her wedding day is just insane.
