Rehearsal Dinner Help in St. Pete, please!

Hi there,

We are having a rehearsal that is now up to about 35 people for dinner - grr!  Anyway, we have decided to try to move it to St. Petersburg near the wedding site instead of Ybor, it is currently planned at Carmine's.  We are looking for somewhere  fun, and around $50 a person all in.  Any ideas???

I'm considering having mine at The Black Palm near St. Pete Beach or Red Mesa on 4th Street in St. Pete or The Columbia Restaurant. I'm not sure what the prices are though yet.

Where in St. Pete is your wedding? I'd say have it near your venue if you are having out of towners.  But it depends where in St. Pete it is - downtown, North St Pete, South St. Pete, Feathersound St Pete Beach? There are tons of great restaurants in/around downtown St. Pete.  I know the Columbia restaurant at the Pier is a popular one.  Red Mesa on 4th St. or downtown (connected to Push Lounge).  What about the Venue? I've never been there but I know it's pretty big and it serves food (more like a lounge/restaurant but you might be able to do it there). GL!

Thanks for the input. We were having the rehearsal dinner in Ybor so everyone could go out later, but the number has outgrown our choice there.  We are getting married in Downtown St. Pete - so have calls in to Columbia, Bella Brava, Red Mesa, and Ceviche. 

Ceviche was my first choice, but in order to not have to sit downstairs in the "lounge" you have to have $50 a peice in food then everything else.  That is just a little too much for the 37 people attending. 

The Columbia has actually come in as the most reasonable so far!  Thanks for the help!

We had ours at The Columbia and everyone LOVED it. Sangria= SO good!
