I've been slacking on the wedding planning. I just haven't been interested in it. But we're under 5 months and have plenty to do so I'm back on the grind!
MUA - I think I'm booking Michele Renee pending a trial in June (I live in OH so I have to wait until my next trip). I think I'm going to splurge for airbrush makeup and lashes for myself and the girls (as part of their gift). So excited!
Favors - I had a hard time with this. Who needs favors, anyway? We've narrowed it down to either a dessert buffet (mmm... cheesecake on a stick) or just a single black & white cookie wrapped in cellophane with a monogram sticker on the bag. We might go the cookie route to save $ and get a better wedding cake or something.
BM gifts - The Coach outlet had an extra 20% off sale so I got each girl a wristlet. Total spent: $167 (or $33/BM). Woohoo!
Invitations - finally found a design I like. I tried a friendor to be the graphic desiger for my suite and she just couldn't get it right. So I contacted sheilamaridesigns on etsy (she did our save-the-date and monogram) and she came up with something gorgeous. Now I just have to go through the editing process and get them printed (thinking about hitting the neighborhood Kinko's...)
I guess these are baby checks since some things aren't technically complete. But whatever, progress is progress, right?!
