Booked our cake baker today! We're doing cupcakes with a 6" presentation cake from Pastries by Design in Lakewood Ranch. The tasting was so delicious we could barely choose! We landed on three cupcake varieties - chocolate chip with fudge icing, yellow cake with dulce de leche filling and vanilla buttercream icing, and red velvet with cream cheese icing. And for our cake, chocolate chip with fudge filling and vanilla buttercream. OMG I'm getting sugar rush-y thinking about it. The owner is so sweet (no pun intended)! And we were really impressed with their policies and everything so far.
Excited! It's getting closer! And we sent off the deposits for the DJ (and I sent mine for hair and makeup ;-) and booked our wedding night room!
