Need some advice...

So my dress is called a soft white....kinda in between a white and an ivory. My FI originally picked white tuxedo shirts. Do you think we should change them to ivory to match better? I'm worried the white will stand out from my dress. Our table and chair linens are also white....should I change these to ivory as well? I'm really confused on what to do about this!

I also have an "in between" dress (diamond white).  Honestly, i don't think you need to change the shirts (since they will be wearing jackets also) .  I think for linens, I did choose ivory, just because i thought it would look a bit softer against my other colors (sage green).   Im not sure I did it because of my dress.

I am a "go with the flow/laid back" kind of bride, so there may be others who feel more strongly about this than I.

My dress is white and I was going to use Ivory linens but the coordinator at my venue suggested that I use white linens to match my dress. She said that having the linens match the color of your dress makes everything flow better to the eye.
Honestly it all depends on what you want. If you want everything to look really coordinated then I think you should change the linens but if you think you will like the contrast then I wouldn't worry about it.
I agree with mbathey, no one will really notice the mens shirts especially if they have jackets. So don't worry about those.

If it were a white tux, I'd say yes, but honestly I don't think anyone would notice the shirt.  I'm pretty laid back also and I wouldn't worry about the table linens.  You ARE supposed to stand out; I don't think your dress has to match the table cloths.

My dress was Diamond white and the GM as well as the linens were White and you would have never known the difference.

I would go with your inital gut instinct.

Those are such easy changes I would suggest changing both. I don't think either will make a huge difference, but if it's not going to cost you more why not?? The only reason I say change his shirt color is because of photos. Esp. B&W.. his shirt will stand out more, and let's face it.. the attention should be on your dress! ;]
