Calligraphy

One thing I've always wanted was beautifully addressed envelopes. Not only is it pretty, but I think it'll really get the point across that this is a formal wedding. Does anyone have a recommendation for a calligraphist? I'd preferably like to keep it under the $2/envelope I see on Etsy.

Thanks!

I used a lady named Fanny Bear.  She works out of her home in St. Pete and charges $1.50 per envelope.  She does an excellent job.  Unfortnately, I think I deleted the email with her information, but you can probably look her up on yellowpages.com or something.  Good luck!

I used Tampa Calligraphy and she is $1 I believe. Her name is Diane and she is absolutely amazing!  Please tell her that I sent you and she may even give you a better deal than that!  She has done so much for me that it is ridiculous...she is very CREATIVE!!!  Her number is 813-854-6100 and her email address dianejb@aol.com

    I did mine myself Laughing

I cheated though, I printed on the envelope in a very very light gray and then traced over, everyone commented on how great the Calligraphy looked!

Did you use a calligraphy pen or just a normal one? I bought a calligraphy pen just to see if I could make the thick/thin lines and it was a huge fail.

Oh sorry... I used a gold paint pen. It was really easy. I can take a picture of one of the envelopes when I get home if you want.

I used a calligrapher based out of Ohio actually, she was super easy to work with and was pretty cheap!

I live it Atlanta but my calligrapher works with people from all over the country.  They were only $1 per envelope and she did an amazing job!  People keep telling me how they don't want to to throw away their envelopes!  the website is calliexp.com if you want to check it out.  Her name is Diane and she is really sweet.
