Church -St. Max in West Chester - A, Yes we had to go through the hoops associated with a catholic ceremony, but honestly, I didn't mind. My husband isn't catholic, and not once did Fr. McCarthy make him feel uncomfortable. I thought he and the church did a great job! Reception Venue - Kings Island Resort and Conference Center -A, I was a little scared at first because the original girl that was supposed to take care of our wedding disappeared in March, but they totally exceeded our expectations. They were all very professional and easy to work with. Photographer - Estes Images - B, originally I wanted to go with Ron Wood, but he wasn't available for my date so he recommended Estes Images. The reason for the B is that he was kind of hard to get ahold of, and he didn't give us a password for our engagment pictures which he promised to do. I was going to use them for table numbers, but just scrapped the idea because it was too hard to reach him. We were also kind of disappointed with our engagement pictures. We felt like we were being rushed and he didn't really give us many pose options. I am still waiting on the pics from the wedding day. The positives were that he allows you two photographers at no time limit, which is awesome! Florist - Two Little Buds at Bridgewater Falls - A+, Mindy and Alice are absolutely amazing. My flowers totally exceeded my expectations, and working with Mindy was such a pleasure. She made me so excited for my flowers. She was easy to get ahold of, and their prices are more than reasonable. I can't praise the both of them enough! The reception vendor emailed me to ask for pictures of our flowers because she had never seen their reception venue look so beautiful. Transportation - A bee Limo - A, Very easy to contact. They even allowed a few extra people in the limo for the trip from the ceremony to the reception, and when I say a few, I mean ten! Cake - Sweetwater Bakehouse, A - Becca was very easy to contact, and our take turned out delicious, and just the way that we wanted it to. Dress/Bridesmaids dresses - Bridal and Formal, C - I was really disappointed with the service at Bridal and Formal. When I went to pick out my dress I was given a shoe consultant instead of a dress consultant because it was Saturday and they were busy. She was terrible. I guess I thought that they were supposed to make you feel good about how you look in the dress, and she had absolutely no personality! As far as bridesmaids dresses go, I had to call Bridal and Formal three times to give them the measurements of one of my bridesmaids, all the while her measurements were in the computer already. (They kept calling back saying they didn't have her measurements) The dresses got ordered about a month and a half after they were supposed to be, and came in two weeks before the wedding. No harm, no foul I guess, but it was a lot of unneccessary stress on me! All in all, my wedding was amazing. Good luck to all of you girls still planning. Have fun planning, and try not to stress too much. You will want to do it all over again when it is said and done!
