Hello all! I have been hanging out in the South Florida board for a little while, but I'm starting to come around to having my wedding on the West Coast. So, I decided to head on over here. I saw this as an older post, so I thought I'd steal it for my intro...
- Wedding Colors? red and brown
- Ceremony Venue? TBD, but I found a house I really like on Treasure Island that I'm interested in using. I want a sunset beach wedding, that's all I know!
- Reception Venue? TBD, maybe the same house. Unsure. I want a mainly dessert and hors d'oeurves reception to keep costs down. I'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible, but I still want people to enjoy themselves.
- Dress Style? strapless, A-line. Haven't gone dress shopping yet, but been looking through a lot of magazines. Kind of leaning toward a dress with pick-ups. No matter the style, I don't want a train. Don't want to be dragging a ton of sand behind me as I walk.
- Are you having fun or stressing over wedding planning? I'm having a ton of fun planning!! I'm a huge planner/organizer, so this is like heaven for me.
For another little tidbit, I'm actually already married. My husband and I got married this past March, but we didn't have a ceremony. We planned on having the ceremony on our two year anniversary. So, essentially, our wedding will be a vow renewal, but we're still going all out for it.
Anywho... I'm really excited about this board. My husband and I just moved to FL from NC, so we don't really know about anything around here. I'm sure you ladies will be a big help for us!!!
