Tim Boyles Photography

Does anyone have any input on Tim Boyles?  A friend of a friend recommended him, but I felt he went off in his blog!  I'd appreciate any information.  Thanks.

I wouldn't worry too much about his blog post. Everything he said is true, there are a lot of amateurs out there claiming to be professional photographers and unfortinately the brides do not realize that they are paying for something that they could have a friend do.
DH & I went to his cousins wedding and decided to take photos because the photographer was no where to be found, the "photographer" that they hired got extremely pissed off at us for snapping photos/ moments that she was missing. When they got their photos back, I felt so bad for them... the quality was terrible, the majority of them were out of focus (which she hid with photo editing) and the photos that we took with our camera came out a 1,000 times better.
I would be worried if he called out specific photographers because that is unprofessional but otherwise I have seen several photographers post similar blogs.
