Nail Polish

With just 8 days to go, I must decide on a nail polish color. So I'm looking for some inspiration. Ladies what are you wearing or wore?

i did a french manicure.  but i was stupid and got it the two days before and it chipped a lot, I should have scheduled time on my actual wedding day to get the manicure.  I would go for something natural like that won't look bad if it's chipped.

I went against the norm and did red.  It was one of our accent colors in the wedding and my bouquet was red and I did red lips as well.  But, I always get gel color on my nails to ensure it doesn't chip.  I would definitely recommend getting a gel overlay regardless of whether or not you do french or a color.  It does cost more, but it does not chip at all, so it's worth the piece of mind.  GL!

OPI makes a nail polish that has lacquer in it.  I believe you have to use a lacquer remover to get it off.  My salon told me it lasts 2 weeks +.  I haven't tried it yet, but I will for the wedding.

I used essie mademoiselle which is a very pale pink. It allowed me to get my nails done a few days before because  it is close to my natural nail color and chipping is not noticeable!

Check out the new SHELLAC or lacquer.  The color LASTS.  it is like the IT thing in salons (I ammajorly abusing the CAPS button for this..hehe).  I work in salons/spas all day and they are raving abouti t.  I am going todo a pale pink that looks natural but definitly getting the shellac.
