My dress is in!

I am so excited. I just decided to give the store a call today and they said the dress is in but will give me a call after they have done the inspection. I was told that it may come in at the end of November because they added extra length to the dress. My only concern is not being able to pick the dress up in person. I'm away at school and my mom will be picking up my dress. What should she specifically look for/ask about when picking up my dress? Any advice greatly appreciated.

I would make a special trip down, just becuase it was ordered in the right size doesn't mean it is going to fit.

Be sure she goes over it tooth and nail to be sure there are no snags, miscolorations etc.

Thank you. I would love to make the trip down to try on the dress but I'm in California and the soonest I can get back is over Christmas break .

I would wwait and try it on, even if you have to wait unti lxmas (which crazily is only like 7 weeks away)...like PP post said. If there is ANYTHING wrong with a the dress (just think back to how much you invested in it) and you leave the store with it.  It will be THAT much harder to fight to get it rectified.



If you ABSOLUTELY can't wait then definitly have her look for any stains any loose threads, unfinished hems, and discoloring.

I will probably have to call the store now. They have a policy where the dress has to be picked up 14 days after arrival or I will lose my deposit. I'm just afraid that if I leave it in the store until I get back, l'll lose my deposit. I'll see what I can do
